Lizzo is playing loudly and an instructor is directing you to "hold that position" as your muscles burn.
Then, puppies come bounding into the room.
That's the experience offered at Puppies and Pilates in Rehoboth Beach.
Owner Bethany Kazaba came up with the business concept in March and is focusing on rapid expansion.
"I wanted to mix all the things I love most, which are fitness, health and wellness and, of course, animals," she said.
"Move, melt, mingle" is the maxim at Puppies and Pilates. Each class is 75 minutes long, with 45 minutes of Pilates and 30 minutes of puppy play, followed by a Mingle mocktail.
